National Parrot Sanctuary Grant & Statutory Executive

A unique and exciting position for a Grant & Statutory Fundraiser with a proven record of experience in researching, targeting, making detailed and complex applications to, and securing high level funds from, major and minor trusts, foundations and statutory bodies and government departments in the UK.

You will have numerous areas to work in from Environmental assistance with our proposed nature reserve to Animal welfare and conservation expansions.

The ideal candidate will have excellent proven account management and associated reporting ability. You will have an understanding of the UK political process in support of policy implementation through grant giving schemes.

Candidates should demonstrate excellent communication skills, lateral thinking, an eye for detail, along with strong presentation skills, be a good team player, self-motivated and flexible.

A flexible and unique opportunity to become a member of our volunteer team, your role will be assisting the upkeep and care of over 1200 birds, a major part of this position is companion handling where you give those birds that require it that extra human care and attention. Volunteer times although flexible are quite strictly monitored and we expect a commitment as if employed, these birds need security in their lives and you become a part of it.
